River Cliff Haus, Waterfront on the Horseshoe

We just returned from a family stay @ River Haus for the second year in a row and couldn't be happier with the amenities and hospitality of these hosts. We had a group of 11 with 5 kids ranging from 11 -17 along with 6 adults. The house slept our group comfortably while still leaving 3-4 open beds and affording plenty of privacy to get work done if/when needed. Between hanging by the river, floating and fishing there is plenty to keep the kids entertained and outside until heading inside to the game room which offers, foosball, shuffle board and a pool table. Gruene and New Braunfels are also a short drive away if you want to get out. Highly recommend and we will be back!

Two years in a row with nothing but praise to give! We had a fabulous time at the river and love this house. The location is the BEST and the house itself has everything you need. We appreciate the kitchen, multiple refrigerators, game room, new fire pit, and comfy beds! We’ll definitely be back.

This property is amazing. The house is beautiful and spacious. We stayed 6 nights with a large family group and never felt overcrowded. I have rented several homes in the area over the past 25 years, I can say without hesitation this house is the best one yet. Perfect location for floating the river or just sitting in the water people watching. The host was very friendly and accommodating. They definitely know how to take care of their guests. The pictures of this house although impressive, do not do it justice. We are already planning our next stay. I cannot thank Jack enough for sharing this property with us and Shannon for taking care of all of our needs during our stay.
